My friends and I ventured down to Port Jefferson’s Celtic Quest fishing feet and sailed on the Celtic Grace Sunday June 14, 2026, for the 5 pm sunset Porgy trip. The crew was outstanding, helpful, and professional, and very entertaining. The service was top tier. I didn’t bring any kids with me but saw how attentive they were to other patrons’ kids on the boat. It was very endearing to see. Truly a family establishment. Fishing was fun and the mates cleaned all our fish. It was fantastic not having to clean the boat and just walk off. Most recently June 2018 for an early fathers day celebration. The fishing was great.and the crew is always such a grrat group of happy, helpful individuals. GOODVerified Beautiful night smooth sailing on 6/30 /25. My grandkids had a ball ! They were hesitant at first about going on a boat because they had heard about the Titanic . I said don't worry we won't hit an iceberg in the Sound . Their fears were soon allayed . The crew was exceptional ! Young men and one women . They were patient and very helpful . They taught the kids the basics and voila they caught porgies . In fact most of the passengers caught porgies . It was exciting. A special shout out to "book um "Dano . Towards the end of the night the kids followed him around like the Pied Piper . He made the trip enjoyable . My grandson wants to go every weekend .I would recommend this charter boat company . They did everything possible to make the day at success. Anytime the bait was low they supply fresh new bait without me asking. When the time came to clean my fish. It was probably one of the best fishing days I've ever had on the Celtic Quest and I've had quite a few great days of fishing. Double-header keepers. The captain was extremely on point. But that seems to be the norm with this business. Whether it's Port Jeff or Mattituck, the captains are always on their game. The mate, Donald, was all alone and just made everything look so easy. This kid was all over the place helping this one and getting that for this other one. All while cleaning and filleting lots of fish. I can say it was worth every single penny to be able to go on this boat. Thank you to all you guys for always making every trip a great trip.
