Our vessels hold up to 120–129 passengers, so we can accommodate everything from a small sales team to a full company outing. We regularly host law firms, financial groups, tech companies, fire and police departments, client entertainment events, and office parties of all shapes and sizes. Private charters mean your group has the boat to yourselves — or if you have a smaller crew, you're welcome to join one of our open boat trips and share the day with other anglers.
Nobody needs to know a thing about fishing. That's what our crew is here for. They'll get everyone set up, answer every question, and have a wonderful time doing it.

Choose your date. Late May through the third week of June is our top recommendation — striped bass are typically running, the weather is beautiful, and it's before vacation season scatters the team. September is an excellent second window with strong fishing and comfortable conditions.
We handle the details. Gear, bait, licenses, crew assignments — all covered. You send us the headcount. We do the rest.
Show up and fish. Aim to arrive about 45 minutes early. We depart from 118 West Broadway in Port Jefferson, right in the marina. The crew gets everyone settled and on the water quickly.
Go home with fish. Our mates clean and bag the catch dockside. Port Jefferson Village is right outside the marina with great restaurants and shops if the group wants to keep the celebration going.

When to Book a Striped Bass Corporate Fishing Trip
Two windows stand out for corporate groups, and knowing the difference helps you plan a trip everyone will be talking about.
Late May through the third week of June is our strongest recommendation. Striped bass are typically running in the Sound, the weather is usually gorgeous, and porgies and fluke are going strong too — so even on days when the bass are being particular, there's plenty of action to keep everyone entertained. June is our busiest month of the year, which means dates go quickly. Book early if this window works for your group.
August through October brings the fall run. Striped bass and bluefish return with real energy, and the fishing can be fantastic. One honest note on October: the fishing is often excellent, but weather on the Sound can be unpredictable. We'll always work with you on rescheduling if conditions aren't cooperating.
Outside those windows, mixed-bag bottom fishing — porgies, sea bass, bluefish — runs reliably all season long and makes for a wonderfully fun corporate outing. Lots of action, lots of laughs, and everyone goes home with something.

Not at all. Our crew is on deck the entire trip to help every angler — setting up rods, explaining what to do, and cheering everyone on. Some of the most fun we've ever had out there has been with complete beginners. The crew genuinely loves teaching first-timers, and people pick it up faster than you'd think.
How many people can you accommodate for a corporate charter?
Our two vessels hold up to 120 passengers on Celtic Quest IV and 129 on Celtic Grace, so we can handle groups of nearly any size. For smaller teams, a private charter or an open boat trip both work well depending on your preference.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Absolutely. Beer and wine are welcome — bring a cooler. We ask that you leave the hard liquor at home, but there's plenty of room to make the day feel festive. Food is bring-your-own, so pack whatever your group enjoys.
What happens if the weather is bad on our trip day?
Safety is always the top priority. If conditions aren't safe to go out, we'll offer a full refund or a rain-check credit so you can reschedule. For October trips especially, we always recommend having a backup date in mind — fall weather on the Sound can be wonderful or unpredictable depending on the week.
