Celtic Quest offers fishing day trips perfect for the family, a friends’ outing, work team-building exercises, and corporate charters. We also host other special occasions.

Reservations are required in advance to board the boat. Tickets can be purchased online under book your trip or over the phone with either a Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. Book early to have the best shot at the day/time you prefer!
For fluke, we highly recommend 15-20 lb fluorocarbon, ½-2 oz bucktails (white is best all around, but pink, chartreuse and bunker also work well sometimes), a light spinning rod or bait caster with 10-20 lb braid is ideal for bucktailing. You can also use a conventional rod and reel, not too heavy, for bait fishing. We usually fish with 2-4 oz of lead. For fluke, you’ll want to use 1/0-3/0 hooks.
For porgies, we will rig you up with a high low rig. You’ll want to fish as light as possible, 4-8 oz of lead is the norm. We will provide you with everything you need as far as hooks and rigs, but if you wish to tie your own rigs, standard high low rig with small porgies hooks is fine.
Yes, all rods, bait and tackle are included with this trip for both types of fishing. Just bring your food, drinks and a small cooler to take your fillets home for dinner.
None!! We have mates that will help you every step of the way! We welcome everyone from novices to experienced anglers. Most people who come onboard have little or no fishing experience, so no worries if it is your first time!

Please note that we do sail in the rain as long as the conditions are safe and we think we will be able to run a productive and fun trip for you. Most cancellations only occur due to high winds or severe weather. These decisions are made by our expert Captains on the day of the trip and should you have any questions or concerns, please by all means just give a call and we would be happy to give you the latest updates.
1. Any trip purchased may be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance for a full ticket(s) refund.
There will be no refunds for any processing fees collected by the reservation software provider.
2. Cancellations made due to weather are to be made solely at the discretion of Celtic Quest INC.

Great question. While we can tell you various fish are biting in different seasons, we mainly catch Porgies, Fluke, Sea Bass, Bluefish, Striped Bass, Weakfish and others. We cannot promise what any one fishing trip will yield in terms of catch but we always venture out to where we think the fish are biting on any given day. Each trip is a little different in its focus, so please feel free to ask if you would like to know what your trip will be targeting exactly. Hopefully, you’ll catch the big one (or have lots of fun trying!)
