Awesome day today again! Todays charter was in honor of the great Capt Neil Faulkner! It took a little lookin but when we found the fluke it was a HOT bite on the ebb! 30 anglers had around 1000 fluke, keeping just a few shy of a boat limit.
Lock and load! Pool was 6 3/4 lbs!
Very good fishing !
Headed back tomorrow hopefully.

Another Awesome day locally!!! We didnt have enough fares to sail on the east end trip so we stayed local and beat on the fluke! Full boat limit was no problem with 21 keepers for 7 anlgers (orl) with an average size of 4 lbs! Plus tons of shorts and 25 cocktail blues.
Great trip!

With the local fishing we will be changing our schedule a bit next week. Monday thru Friday will be full day Fluke 7am 2pm.

Awesome fluke bite locally today!! First of the ebb was on fire as tons of fluke came over the rails!. 25 keepers were caught on the half day trip alone up to 6.5 lbs.

The East End trip saw lots fluke caught though the keeper ratio was off today. Some really quality fish were landed though as 13 anglers had lots of shorts, keeping 16 with a few over 5 lbs including one 6.7, a 7.5 and a 7 3/4 !
The pool winning beauty caught by Noreast Saltwater's Sal Amendolia!!!
Nice fish!!

Bernie was high hook with 30 plus fluke, 4 keepers including one over 6 and one over 7 lbs!

We didnt have enough fares today to sail down east. Stayed local and both boats today had excellent action with a silly amount of fluke caught, decent amount of keepers in the mix. The pm trip also had similar good results as did yesterdays pm trip.

Pool the past 2 days locally has been up to 9 lbs!!! So some very nice fish in the mix to go with all the 17-20 inch fluke.

Another fine day today with Full Boat Limit on Jc's limited load noreast charter. 16 anlgers had 44 keepers on the the day (orl) releasing hundreds of jumbo should be keeper shorts.

Steady bite all day with some real good flurries on certain parts of the tide. Pool was 6.5 lbs. Mike was high hook with 6 keepers followed Togilator and Ken Scott with 5 keepers each. Everyone had an easy 20-40 fluke a man. Another very fine day!

Thanks Jay for putting such a great trip together! Look forward to the next one.

Headed out on East End Specials for the rest of the week.

Eastend Special: Full Boat Limit today for our charter of 36!.

Great bite today, especially the back side of the tide when they really turned on. Over 800 fluke on the day, keeping a full boat limit.

Freddie Azaiter was "muy CALIENTE!" today!. Between touching his good luck crab he caught on the first drift and kissing his Capt Neil Maximizer rod after every fish, he was reelin up fish all day long, finishing up with over 50 fluke easy for the day, 4 keepers (orl) Way to Freddie!

Really some fine light tackle bucktailing today and great company made it even better. Thanks Capt Neil for al your work in putting this trip together!

Sailing open boat on these trips everyday next week starting Tuesday!

The local half day trips saw a lot of shorts but was slow on the keepers, not like yesterday for whatever reason. Try again tomorrow.

Friday, July 2, 2010

Fluking was very very good on the morning half day trip! 25 keepers and hundreds of shorts were landed with the pool around 5 lbs. great trip.

The East End Special was also very successful. Despite very windy conditions first thing in the morning and then lousy wind against tide for the rest of the trip, over 30 keepers were landed with hundreds of "shorts".

Very good day all around. Looking forward to getting back out there tomorrow!

Great Fluking today on our East End Special!

16 anglers had a full boat limit and then some(orl), over 40 keepers total, releasing hundreds and hundreds more!! So many should be keepers 18-20 inches!!! Excellent fishing for sure. Bucktails, bait, whatever….it all worked today!

High hook was Ron Grandinetti who had over 50 fluke, 5 keepers(orl) and the pool close to 7 lbs!!

Beautiful day! Plenty of room tomorrow. Headed back to where we left off tomorrow. Just come on down if you would like to join us!

The local bite has also been great and we will be sailing our second boat at 9am till 1 pm if you cant make it for the full day.

Fireworks Cruise 7:30 pm July 4th!

The porgie fishing continues to be simply amazing the past few days! This enormous body of scup has pushed right outside the harbor the past few days and it has been an all out BONANZA!

Tonight in 1 hour we landed well over 500 big ill tempered porgies! SAVAGE ! (orl)
Todays charter saw an all out Bail as well. Last night open boat the same.
The reads and piles of fish here is truly mind boggling.

We will be targeting these fish all weekend on our half day trips and evening trips. Bring the kids!!!! This is the time!

On the fluke front, the fishing remains very good though it wasnt quite the torrid pace as earlier in the week. Nonetheless, over 30 keepers to 6 lbs again today, several hundred shorts. High hook with 6 keepers!

Solid day today, not as many as yesterday. 15 fares were 4 short of a full boat limit though. Very fast drift made the latter half of the trip very challenging!
