Very good bottom fishing and diamond jigging right now! Saturdays mornings trip saw a very good catch of big porgies Off Old Field. The mid day trip was a bloodbath as the the blues were all over the place! Our pm trip started out with a good porgie bite,, then the bite slowed after a brief thunderstorm. We moved over to the shoal and had another good drop on the porgies which made for a decent night. We tried one last rock pile to end the night which was slow.

Today's Noreast Charter was a blast! The morning conditions were very poor as the flood tide against the west wind made it nearly impossible to sit still. Nonetheless we picked away at some nice sized scup. Would have been great had we been able to anchor properly. Then we headed out to the Middle Grounds and slayed the blues.!!! The rip was lit up as the blues feasted on a ton of anchovies, butterfish and even baby snappers. Bail job!!!

Once the tide eased we switched back to bottom fishing for a pick of some big scup and a handful a sea bass. To end the trip we took a few token fluke drifts, managing 1 keeper a few shorts and 1 big sea bass. To top it all off there was more food than we could possibly eat. Total for the day was several hundred blues (ORL) 150-200 porgies, 8 sea bass, 1 striper and 1 fluke.
Thanks guys for a great day!
