We did not sail today with the weather. Yesterday, we had a good showing of larger fluke……but there was one problem. Most of them were too big! A good problem to have. We kept a few in the slot and release several more of 20 inches. We also had a handful of very large porgies as well.
John Brisciana led the way with 11 fluke on the day, 8 of which were over 20 inches up to 6.5 lbs. Hopefully these big plumpies will be waiting for us on Saturdays regular season opener!
