No sail today with the weather. Yesterday was a very solid day all around. The morning bite was slow where we have been catching well. We picked a few fluke here and there and waited for the tide to turn to see if the bite would pick up but it never did. Looked around a bit and Capt Amanda gave us a call and put us onto a nice body of fluke for the rest of the day. Finished up with over 200 fluke, keeping over 30 up to 5 lbs. Many 20 inch plus fish were released. The fluke are here and definitely on the feed. All the boats in the area caught well today!

The PM Porgie Special was very good. Lots of BIG porgies to over 3 lbs were landed. Very good tides coming up this week for these trips. Bring the kids. Its PORGY TIME!

Lastly, due to popular demand and some very good fishing reports that we have received from down east, we will be sailing on a EAST END FLUKE SPECIAL leaving at 6:30am this Saturday, May 22 as well as Saturday May 29th! We will also be running these special trips every Tuesday and Thursday and may add a few more! These trips are by reservation so please book ahead.

Today I sailed on the CQ for the start of the FLUKE season. It feels as though last year never stopped. The morning started out slow with the bad tide but by 10am the bite was on.We had about 25 fisherman on board and I think at last count 225 to 250 FLUKE came over the rail with 35 keepers over 21 inches. Its just the start of a great season on a great boat.O by the way the CQ now has a second boat at the dock so there is always a spot ready for an eager fisherman.Capt DESI, Capt CHRIS and TOMMY made the day a great start to my season,Thanks for a wonderful day see you all real soon.
