The Eastern fluke grounds have seen a new charge of fish, and the past couple of day trips down there have had good fishing. Several fish over five pounds have been caught, and as these thinner fish bulk up quickly on the sand eels, there should be some impressive catches put up in the coming weeks.

Last night's porgy trip had some fast fishing for a light crowd. Giant scup were the dominators of the trip, with very few fish under a pound and a half. There;s still some good scup fishing to be had before they take their mid-summer vacation, so come down and get your thrills. No place better to be when it's ninety degrees than catching fish on the water, with a cool breeze.
