Excellent bottom fishing on the PM trip yesterday!!! Everyone went home with LOTS of big porgies. There were also some sea bass and lots of blues in the area. The piece of bottom we were fishing was just alive with life! Great trip.
The day trip also had some nice fish. Capt Jon explored a bit and located some decent life in the deep water and put around 150 quality porgies in the boat. Nothing crazy but the size was very good.
We are off the harder moon tides now so the jiggin has slowed a bit and we have transitioned for the upcoming week to more bottom fishing ( though it fishing, you never canpredict what is going to happen). But looks like some decent bottom fishing is shaping up on a few of the deep water drops for nice porgies and sea bass!
