Porgy fishing has definitely improved a lot this week with some quality fish now starting to show on the local rock piles. Had some good drops recently off both Cranes and Mt Sinai .
Also the last few days there has been acres of cocktail blues on the surface off cedar beach. Bring your spinning pole if you have one as the casters especially are having a blast with all these fish. Today was incredibly rough which put a damper on the bass and blue fishing as we were very limited in where we could fish. We did have a nice mess of porgies though despite the lousy conditions. Looking forward to getting back out there with nicer conditions.
