What’s Included in the Price?

Everything you need to fish. Every Celtic Quest trip is all-inclusive: rod, reel, bait, and tackle are all provided at no extra charge, and you’re covered under the boat’s fishing license, so you don’t need your own. The crew is on deck the whole trip to help with baiting, unhooking, and netting your fish, and they’ll fillet and bag your catch at the end of the day.

The only things to bring are food and drinks for yourself, sunscreen, and a small cooler for your fillets. That’s it — no hidden fees, no gear rental counter, no surprises at the dock.

How Do Long Island Fishing Prices Compare?

Open-boat (party boat) trips like ours are the most affordable way to fish Long Island Sound because you share the boat with other anglers. A private charter — where you rent the whole boat for your own group — costs more in total but can make sense for events like birthdays, corporate outings, or memorials. If you’re weighing the two, our guide to private vs. open boat charters breaks it down, or call the office at (631) 928-3926 for a private charter quote.

Ways to Save

  • Sail on a weekday — kids fish for $65 and the boat is usually less crowded.
  • Bring the veterans in your family — the $5 discount applies to any trip.
  • Gift cards — a Celtic Quest gift card covers any trip and never goes to waste.
