Excellent fishing, with limits for those who wanted to fill the freezer, others kept just a few for dinner!

Fishing Report – May 12, 2023 Jamesport. Today we were chartered. Long term clients going back 15 years or so. All we can say about today is WEAKFISH SLAYFEST!! Port Jefferson A bit slower than we would have liked on our striped bass special this morning. Lots of fish around, but they didn’t seem to want to bite very well. Steady pick in the morning, it was fine fishing but nothing wild. As the tide eased we made a move and it was game on!! We iced the cake and sent everyone home with heaping buckets! Again All c bass were released! Sold out sat and Sunday but room all next week.
