Just Warming up!

Yesterday was very slow with the east wind.  no bite at all.  Today we ventured to the west and found some life, nothing great, but better then yesterday for sure! Some nice keepers were landed before the tide dropped out.  The stage is set and any day now they will really turn on!    Here on some pics from today

Opening day!!

So great to be fluke fishing again!  We had some life on the outgoing tide right outside the harbor.  The incoming was slow.  But they are here and as this water warms the next few days they will wake up!!  Here is a nice shot of the pool fish today caught by Kelly Flanagin!

Boats are just about finished.  All painted up from top to bottom ready to go for the next season!!  We might try to do some flounder fishing in a week or so!  Will post update later in the week.Cant wait to see you all soon ! ​

Shipyard fun. Boats all set to go for the upcoming Season!

Here area few shots of the boats from the shipyard in sayville.  They are all shined up, painted and back in the water.  Will be bringing them home to Port Jeff this week. Really looking forward to the upcoming season starting May 1 !!!

Long Island Fishing Report – November 12, 2012

Tough fishing guys the past few trips. We went from all out awesome bite to very slow and picky most likely due to the quick drop in water temps post Athena as well as the new moon. Going to take the next two days off and begin again at the end of the week. Once they settle in a bit we should see another round of excellent black fishing coming up! Stay tuned!

Long Island Fishing Report – November 5, 2012

Great day today!! FULL BOAT LIMIT!! Johnny b was high hook with 13 keepers (orloc) Nice quality to 8lbs. Oh my!!!! Capt Jared also had a fine day with the tog on our charter!! 60 plus keepers for our charter and several large ones in the mix!! Tog are chewin good!!

Nice catch of blackfish today in Glenn's noreast charter. 200 plus tog keeping 65 to 8lbs. Lots of 15 inchers. Sailing open boat daily. Plenty of room if you would like to join us!

Long Island Fishing Report – November 1, 2012

We will resume sailing on Saturday at 7am! We headed out today to test the waters and the tog were biting great !!! Tons of life as expected pushed off the beach and into deeper water. Plenty of nice quality too. Looks great for the weekend fishing for those of you who are able to join us!! Office will be open again tomorrow. Just give a call or for that matter just come on down if you want 7am.

Long Island Fishing Report – October 27, 2012

Last trip before the storm was decent with 30 nice tog and a bunch of porgies, sea bass and a trigger fish! This storm will definitely move the tog off the beach so end of next week should be good! Looks like we will be tied up through wednesday at least! Stay safe everyone!

Long Island Fishing Report – October 21, 2012

FULL BOAT LIMIT OF BLACKFISH IN TODAYS CHARTER!!! LOTS OF MEATY ONES TOO SEVERAL IN THE 7-8LB CLASS. Tons of shorts/would be keepers from last year. Solid bite all day long!! GREAT DAY! Last nights chunking trip was very slow due to the conditions. The blues had been feasting the past few days but the weather/wind and tide were horrendous for the chunking trip and as a result just a few blues were landed. Todays full day trip was also
