Fishing Report – May 3, 2024 Jamesport Another very picky day on the grounds. A bit better than yesterday, but still now what we wanted to see. Definitely more life coming into the bay every day! Not going to be long!
Fishing Report – May 2, 2024 Jamesport Very tough day out there today. Read the scup everywhere we stopped, but just a handful would bite. Some warm afternoons like today should change their mood real quick, and before you know it, it’ll be game on! Back at it tomorrow!

The bad news was that after a strong start in the morning where it looked like we were going to put together a great catch , the fish shutdown for the second half of the trip. 😞But at least they are here right on schedule and tomorrow is another day ! Fishing Report – November 26, 2023 Mattituck Well, that’s a wrap on our 2023 season! It was a fantastic year! Unfortunately, we ended with a slower day than we had hoped. We fought through very hard current to scratch away at some nice tog. As always, we would like to thank all of you for a great season, and we’ll see you all in the spring!
Fishing Report – November 25, 2023 Mattituck Very similar day to yesterday. A decent bite in the morning before the ebb tide cranked up, then a slow pick which added up to a pretty good day overall. Tomorrow will be our last day of the 2023 season, as the Connecticut season closes Tuesday, and the weather for Monday and Tuesday doesn’t look so great.
Fishing Report – November 24, 2023 Mattituck Fought the hard outgoing tide all day today and picked away at the tog. Some people did Ok, some people struggled with the hard current and heavy lead. All in all, not to shabby for a moon tide! Fish upto 6.5 pounds.
Fishing Report – November 21, 2023 Mattituck Sailed with a very light crowd today. Had to work for the keepers, as the bite wasn’t as aggressive as the past few days, but everyone went home with blackfish dinner! Plenty of shorts to keep us busy all day.

Fishing Report – November 16, 2023 Mattituck Tough wind against tide conditions today made anchoring tough, but we still had a nice steady pick of keeper and short blackfish throughout the day!
Fishing Report – November 15, 2023 Mattituck Picked at the blackfish today. It was definitely a finicky bite, but by days end they added up to a nice catch of keepers! Some did better than others, but that’s fairly typical with the tog. The porgies appear to have finally moved out of the area.

Fishing Report – November 12, 2023 Mattituck Good life this morning on end of the incoming and first of the ebb, once the tide kicked in the bite got pickier seeing a few everywhere, but you had to work for them. High hook had 7 keepers (orl). A few seabass and some stubborn porgies rounded out the catch. Weather look absolutely perfect tomorrow, and we are definitely sailing!
