Fishing Report – November 11, 2023 Port Jefferson Some pics from Saturdays 9-2 trip in Port Jefferson! A light crowd picked at the porgies with a couple keeper seabass mixed in! That will wrap up our Port Jefferson season for 2023! Thanks to all for a fantastic year!!!! Mattituck!Windy conditions made it a bit challenging and the bite wasn’t as good as yesterday. Some nice tog and Seabass were landed but no great numbers today. Tomorrow’s weather looks much better

Fishing Report – November 10, 2023 Mattituck!Despite terrible conditions we put together a very good catch today! One drop was loaded with big Seabass! And a few drops had some real nice tog! Fishing Report – November 9, 2023 Mattituck The day started with a nice bite of blackfish and scup on the first of the ebb. As the tide got going harder the fish became picking with each drop seeing some fish. Nice surprise was a cod on a green crab! Mattituck Not what we’re expecting to see, but you never know what’s going to happen! Nice Long Island Sound cod for Larry!!!

Fishing Report – November 6, 2023 Mattituck!Best tog day so far! Just a few shy of a boat limit of blackfish to 7lbs! Plus all the porgies you wanted and a handful of Seabass. Nice trip. Fishing Report – November 5, 2023 Mattituck Some from yesterday’s trip! Excellent porgy bite! The blackfish weren’t as aggressive as Saturday, but still saw some nice fish to 5 pounds!

Fishing Report – November 4, 2023 Mattituck Good fishing today! Loads of scup, some real nice blackfish up to a round 8 pounds, and a few seabass sprinkled in! Mattituck A few more from today!

Fishing Report – November 3, 2023 Mattituck Sailed with a light crowd in less than ideal conditions today. Picked away at the keeper and short tog! Some limits were taken, with the better fishing being before the flood tide got going against the wind. Only a couple of keeper seabass today, but there were lots of porgies around even though nobody fished for them. Back at it tomorrow!

Fishing Report – November 2, 2023 Mattituck!Worked hard today for a pick of tog and Seabass. Some nice fish in the mix but nothing great yet. Hopefully this cold weather gets them fired up!

Fishing Report – October 29, 2023 Mattituck Battled really tough conditions today and managed to pick away at the porgies with some keeper tog caught and some nice seabass mixed in! This week the weather is forecast to cool off and the tides will start easing off! Hopefully this kicks the blackfish into gear!

Fishing Report – October 28, 2023 Port Jefferson Great trip yesterday (Saturday) on the 9-2! Beautiful weather and excellent fishing! Mattituck Had to battle raging current today, which definitely kept the blackfish numbers down, but the porgies were plentiful and cooperative! A few keeper seabass were also caught.

Fishing Report – October 27, 2023 Port Jefferson Another excellent trip in Port Jeff today! The porgies were stacked and hungry! Not as wild as yesterday, but still plenty good! Fishing Report – October 26, 2023 Port Jefferson Excellent porgy fishing on today’s 9-2 trip! Not a lot of photos…..the crew was too busy cleaning fish, and my phone died. Many had limits, some had less, some just wanted a few for dinner! Definitely sailing tomorrow 9-2! Come get them while they are still here! Mattituck Some nice tog today! Getting larger!But no great numbers yet. Plenty of porgies though and a decent showing of sea bass today. Amazing weather

Fishing Report – October 25, 2023 Mattituck Still lots of scup around for those who want them, a good amount of very nice seabass mixing in, and the blackfish decided to chew a bit better on the easing of the tide! Snotty conditions this morning, but absolutely beautiful this afternoon! All in all, a fine day!

Fishing Report – October 21, 2023 Mattituck Made the best of some difficult conditions today and picked away at the porgies with a few keeper blackfish and a bunch of shorts. Ended the day with a nice shot of seabass! Mattituck Just a few from Saturday that never posted. We beat the wind for most of the day….but the ride home got a bit sporty!
