Long Island Fishing Report – August 11, 2012

HOT fishing on a few of the trips today!!! Last night chunking trip was Great!!! BIG blues to 14 lbs!! Lots of them! The chunk bite has really broken open!! Capt Jon just reported back from the 445 trip and it was awesome!!. Lots of limits of very big quality porgies. Excellent bottom fishing. Crew is still cleaning fish at the dock!

Long Island Fishing Report – August 10th, 2012

The last 3 evening trip have seen some excellent bottom fishing!!! Extremely large quality porgies, some nice seabass and blues have been providing great action! Long Island Fishing Report – August 8, 2012

Excellent bottom fishing on the PM trip yesterday!!! Everyone went home with LOTS of big porgies. There were also some sea bass and lots of blues in the area. Here is a nice customer report from two nights ago : Celtic Quest: I was looking to get out for some summertime porgy and decided to hit the Celtic Quest, out of Port Jefferson for an evening of just that. Very good jigging today with piles of blues and some big gaffers. switched over to some nice Scup, caught over a hundred for a light crowd, kept 60. 30 sea bass, kept 7 up to 3 pounds in the last bit of the trip.

The great diamond jigging continued this morning!!! The south Rip was completely lit up with all the blues you wanted. everyone caught a ton of fish. We are coming up on a moon this week and the tides are primo for some awesome diamond jigging. Pick a time with a nice moving current and hopefully it should be good !! Now we just some nicer weather to go with it!

Long Island Fishing Report – July 26, 2012

Very good jigging today again. The fishing has been great with many drifts producing a bailjob of bluefish. Some have been in the larger size up to 10 pounds. After we jigged we caught some nice sized scup and a giant seabass! Everyone went home with fish.

Long Island Fishing Report – July 25, 2012

Jigging was insane today with both morning trips. High hook over thirty fish rol. We sat for 45 minutes on 1 drift and caught over 100 fish. Then, after wrists were tired and buckets were full, we switched over to catch some beautiful scup and sea bass- everyone went home with some scup for dinner!

On the 7 to 11 trip this morning, fishing was excellent!!!!!! First drop just had a few, second drop however was lock and load! Some good fisherman on the boat today that really put a hurtin on them!! High hook around 40(orl). Actually he only kept 15, thats all he wanted. Good scup fishing right now!!!! Come on down! –Chris
